D. Dean Mason, Chief Executive Officer
Dean joined HSA Bank as the chief executive officer in January 2009. Prior to joining HSA Bank, he was president and CEO of Exante Bank (now known as OptumHealth Bank). Dean also held the positions of chief operating officer of Exante Financial Services and the chief information officer and chief technology officer for Marquette Financial Companies. He earned a B.A. degree in computer science from Yale University and is widely recognized as a leader in the industry. Dean has extensive experience in strategic planning, operations, finance, information technology and public policy to continue building upon HSA Bank's position within the HSA industry.

Kirk joined State Bank of Howards Grove as the vice president of operations in 1995. In 1997, he led the initiative to offer Medical Savings Accounts (the predecessor to Health Savings Accounts) on a national scale. Over the last 13 years, Kirk has led this business unit, now marketed as HSA Bank, to create a product that combines low fees, competitive rates, and dedicated service. HSA Bank leads the competition which is just now entering the HSA market. Now, with more than 25 years of banking experience, and as the president of HSA Bank, Kirk is dedicated to the strategic development and management of the HSA Bank team.

Itamar joined HSA Bank as the information technology analyst in 2000. Today as the senior vice president and chief technology officer, he is responsible for the development and implementation of new technologies that help HSA Bank more effectively serve its relationships and customers. He was involved in implementing the automation of HSA Bank's paper application process, which minimizes manual intervention. He also introduced Internet Banking and online enrollment options. In addition to the technological advancements he has made, Itamar played an instrumental role in the development of the MSA Bank and HSA Bank brands. These efforts helped ignite the growth of HSA Bank.

Chris Ebersole, Vice President of Business Development
Chris rejoined HSA Bank as the vice president of Business Development in 2011 where he is responsible for building and maintaining strategic partnerships with third-party administrators, health plans and technology providers to promote consumer–directed healthcare. Chris previously spent nearly two years with HSA Bank as a regional vice president beginning in 2004. At that time, he managed the bank’s relationships in the Eastern region of the country. In 2006, Chris joined The Bancorp Bank as Vice President, Director of Healthcare Sales to drive the growth of its HSA solution. He has more than 25 years of experience marketing employee benefits programs, healthcare and banking solutions. Chris earned the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. |

James Peterson, Assistant Vice President of Business Development
James joined HSA Bank as Lead IT Analyst in 2006. He was promoted to assistant vice president of Business Development in 2008. James is responsible for working closely with health plans and strategic partners to develop formal, fully–integrated partnerships. To build these integrated partnerships, James creates a strategy to promote mutually beneficial growth for both companies, launch new products or services, and ensure HSA Bank's market–leading technology supports the partnership. James has more than 15 years of experience in Information Technology and the promotion of strategic corporate growth. |

She is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with Broker Dealers and Financial Advisors. Before joining HSA Bank, Wendy spent eight years in the insurance and financial services industries. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota.

David Drzymkowski, Regional Vice President
Service Area: California, Hawaii David joined HSA Bank as a regional vice president in 2005. He is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with insurance carriers, agencies, TPAs, employers and other financial institutions in California and Hawaii. Before joining HSA Bank, David spent more than 17 years as a leading health insurance representative. With the introduction of Health Savings Accounts in 2004, David began educating agents, companies and consultants of its benefits and quickly grew into the leading agent for Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) for his company.

Phil Hartsig, Regional Vice President
Service Area: Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee Phil joined HSA Bank as a regional vice president in 2008. He is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with insurance carriers, benefit consultants, TPAs, employers and other financial institutions in the Southeast region of the country. Before joining HSA Bank, Phil spent over 27 years working in various roles with health insurance carriers, third party administrators and benefit consulting firms. He was an early advocate of consumer-directed health plans and has promoted HSA-compatible plans as a means for his clients to rein in spiraling health care costs.

Glenn Stokes, Regional Vice President
Service Area: Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, Wisconsin Glenn joined HSA Bank as a Regional Vice President in 2004. He is responsible for developing and maintaining business relationships with carriers, benefit consultants, MGAs, GAs, agencies, brokers, TPAs and employers within the central region of the country. Glenn brings nearly 30 years of insurance industry experience, first on the carrier side and then later as an agency owner, to HSA Bank. He graduated from San Jose State University, did graduate work in the MBA program at DePaul University, and spent over two years in the Philippines as a Peace Corps volunteer. Michael Olaiz, Regional Vice President
Service Area: Texas, Oklahoma Michael joined HSA Bank in 2005 as a supervisor in the Client Assistance Center (CAC). He was promoted to the manager of the CAC in 2006. While managing the CAC, Michael took an active role in streamlining processes to create consistency throughout the CAC. He also developed an internal FAQ system that expanded the ability of all departments to provide consistent, accurate responses to customers. Today, Michael is responsible for serving HSA Bank's business relationships in Texas and Oklahoma as the regional vice president.

Christine Walker, Regional Vice President

Donna Woerner, Regional Vice President

Donna joined HSA Bank in 2007 as the assistant vice president for the Northeast; she was promoted to regional vice president in June of 2010. Donna has an extensive background in administering self insurance programs for large national clients with an emphasis in employee benefit programs and consumer driven health care. Service Area: Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia Steve joined HSA Bank as a regional vice president in 2010. He is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with insurance carriers, agencies, TPAs, and employers. Before joining HSA Bank, Steve spent nearly 20 years in the group health and employee benefits insurance industry where his focus was to build and develop client relationships. Steve has always been a proponent of consumers having more control of their healthcare dollars. He first marketed FSAs so employees could pay for out of pocket healthcare costs with tax-free funds. When consumer driven healthcare evolved into HSAs, it was natural for him to support and promote them.

Service Area: Florida Paul joined HSA Bank as a regional vice president in 2010.
