Chad Wilkins - EVP of Webster Bank and head of HSA Bank

Charles "Chad" Wilkins, EVP of Webster Bank and head of HSA Bank

Chad joined HSA Bank in 2014 and brings more than 25 years of banking and health insurance industry experience with him. He was most recently president of his own consulting practice specializing in healthcare and financial services. Prior to that, Chad was general manager and chief executive officer of OptumHealth Financial Services, a division of UnitedHealth Group in Minnesota, where he managed all aspects of the $400 million financial services division. He began his career at US Bank's Corporate Payment Systems in Minneapolis where he had roles of increasing responsibility over a 15-year period while helping to build one of the largest and most successful commercial payment groups in the banking industry. Chad earned his Bachelor's degree in Government from Lehigh University.


Itamar Romanini - SVP Director of Marketing, Sales and Business Development - HSA Bank

Itamar Romanini, SVP Director of Marketing, Sales and Business Development

Itamar ensures the Bank's profitability by developing new strategies, technologies and product enhancements that retain and attract key channel partners including national and regional insurance carriers. Working closely with the sales, business development and relationship management teams, Itamar maximizes the return on partnership investments that contribute to HSA Bank’s course of continual growth. Itamar joined the Bank in 2000 and set the stage for HSA Bank’s national recognition as a leading HSA custodian. He was responsible for introducing debit card access, brokerage options to invest HSA dollars, and online functionality including the Bank’s first website with online banking capabilities and a variety of online tools for employers and account holders.


Charlotte Kienbaum, SVP Director of Operations - HSA Bank

Charlotte Kienbaum, SVP Director of Operations

Charlotte began her career with HSA Bank in 2005 and is currently responsible for leading and directing the many strategic and tactical initiatives in our monetary operations and call center areas; projects and initiatives, new customer and partner on-boarding, budgeting, contractual review, tax reporting, card processing, customer service, and workforce development. When joining HSA Bank, Charlotte brought with her over 10 years of retail banking experience in lending, relationship management, and branch operations. She holds a Bachelor of Administration degree in accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant.


Greg Vertelka, SVP Director of Information Technology and PMO - HSA Bank

Greg began his career with HSA Bank in 2012 and is currently responsible for aligning strategic and tactical technology planning with our company’s business and growth objectives; building and sustaining technology relationships, developing and implementing technology enhancements, ensuring compliance to standards and expectations, and developing a highly professional technical team. Greg has brought with him over 20 years of experience in progressive roles managing all aspects of technology and Project Management with large global companies such as Johnson Controls and General Electric. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, and is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.


Kirk Hoewisch - Sr. Vice President of Sales - HSA Bank

Kirk Hoewisch, Sr. Vice President of Sales

Kirk joined State Bank of Howards Grove as vice president of operations in 1995. He led the Bank's initiative to offer Medical Savings Accounts in 1997 and its exclusive focus on Health Savings Accounts in 2004. Now marketed as HSA Bank, Kirk is responsible for developing and driving the Bank's sales strategy and motivating a national sales team. By working closely with product and operations to deliver this value, and over 25 years of industry experience, Kirk continues to grow HSA sales upholding HSA Bank's industry-leading status.


Mark Siebold, VP Senior Product Manager - HSA Bank

Mark Siebold, VP Senior Product Manager

Mark joined HSA Bank in 2012 as Vice President and Senior Product Manager in charge of Product Management & Marketing. He is responsible for leading all aspects of product strategy, development and delivery of HSA Bank’s product portfolio including the consumer portal, public websites, employer and partner online capabilities. His main focus is on enhancing the customer experience to allow HSA Bank’s partners, employers and accountholders to effectively manage their healthcare-related finances. Mark has over 14 years of experience in the financial services marketplace playing key roles at Thomson Reuters and Charles Schwab with a focus on product development and marketing. He holds a BA in Finance from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse.


Wally Fick - VP Director of Administration - HSA Bank

Wally Fick, VP Director of Administration

Wally began his career with HSA Bank in 2004 and is currently responsible for overseeing the many administrative activities across the business unit; organization and coordination of strategic planning and execution, performance reporting and analysis, projects and initiatives, and continuous improvement. In previous roles with the company, Wally designed and developed the customer call center as well as the bank’s regulatory compliance program. Prior to joining HSA Bank, Wally spent over 15 years in various management and leadership positions in both manufacturing and customer service industries. He holds a Bachelor of Business Management degree, an Associate of Materials Management degree, is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt, and a certified Balanced Scorecard Master Professional.


Erin Ferguson, VP, PMO

Erin Ferguson, VP PMO

Erin began her career with HSA Bank in 2005 as a data entry specialist in Operations. She quickly identified opportunities to make improvements both with internal operations and scalability as well as continuing to develop the customer experience through incremental enhancements and projects. Erin recognized the need to develop a structured and more formal Project Governance process and eventually grew what is now known as HSA Bank’s PMO. Erin continues to look for ways to evolve the PMO and deliver consistent successful project results. Erin has completed her Associate’s of Arts degree from University of Wisconsin, her Project Management Certification through University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management through Lakeland College.


Traci Frase - VP Financial Officer - HSA Bank

Traci Frase, VP Financial Officer

Traci began her career with HSA Bank in 2008 and is currently responsible for managing the safety and soundness of the bank's financials; financial statements, budgets and projections, profitability and expense management, cost/benefit analysis, and capital management. Traci brought with her previous experience as a bank controller and auditor, sales and service management system implementation, along with CRM and ITI software integration. She is currently pursuing her MBA, holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting and finance, and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Chris Ebersole - Sr. Vice President of Business Development - HSA Bank

Chris Ebersole, Sr. Vice President of Business Development

Chris rejoined HSA Bank as the vice president of Business Development in 2011, responsible for building and maintaining strategic partnerships with third-party administrators, health plans and technology providers. Chris had previously been a regional vice president with HSA Bank beginning in 2004. For almost two years, he managed the bank's relationships in the eastern United States. In 2006, Chris joined The Bancorp Bank as Vice President, Director of Healthcare Sales to drive the growth of its HSA solution. He has more than 25 years of experience marketing employee benefits programs, healthcare and banking solutions. Chris earned the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.


Tom Cox - Vice President of Business Development

Tom Cox, Vice President of Business Development

Tom joined HSA Bank in 2014 as Vice President of Business Development. He is responsible for developing and building relationships with national benefit consultants and large employers to further HSA Bank as the leader in the consumer-driven healthcare space. Tom’s previous roles as a successful carrier representative, TPA executive and agency owner combine to nearly 20 years of employee benefits experience. He has long been an active proponent of tax advantaged accounts and speaks out as a contributor and thought leader on social media. Tom holds a bachelors of science from Ohio University with a concentration in healthcare administration.

Patrick Farrell, Vice President of Business Development

Patrick Joined HSA Bank as Vice President of Business Development in 2014. He is responsible for developing and building relationships with national benefit consultants and large employers to further HSA Bank as the leader in the consumer-driven healthcare space. Prior to joining HSA Bank, Patrick worked for more than 10 years in consumer-driven health account product sales, establishing himself as a leader in the industry. He has worked in product rollouts and built relationships with brokers and consultants. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Minnesota.

Stewart Feller, Vice President of Business Development

Stewart joined HSA Bank as Vice President of Business Development in 2014. He is responsible for developing and building relationships with health insurance carriers. Stewart is an accomplished business development executive in the Human Resource, and Insurance space. He is responsible for developing and building relationships with insurance carriers. Stewart has also worked in the HR and benefits space for several industry leaders, building alliances with insurance and benefit brokers. Stewart maintains his life and health insurance license and for five years was an adjunct professor of Human Resources and Employee Benefits at Baruch College in New York City, part of the City University of NY.

Sanders joined HSA Bank in 2014. He is responsible for developing and building relationships with national and regional health insurance carriers. Glenn joined HSA Bank as a regional vice president in 2004. Glenn has nearly 30 years of insurance industry experience, first on the carrier side and then later as an agency owner. He graduated from San Jose State University, did graduate work in the MBA program at DePaul University, and spent over two years in the Philippines as a Peace Corps volunteer. Michael joined HSA Bank in 2005 as a supervisor in the Client Assistance Center (CAC). He was promoted to the manager of the CAC in 2006. While managing the CAC, Michael took an active role in streamlining processes to create consistency throughout the CAC. He also developed an internal FAQ system that expanded the ability of all departments to provide consistent, accurate responses to customers. Today, Michael is responsible for serving HSA Bank's business relationships in Texas and Oklahoma as Sr. Vice President.

Manny brings over two decades of experience in the health insurance industry to our national sales team.
