Grant Guidelines


Program Areas

HSA Bank’s corporate giving program focuses on organizations involved in the following:

  • Financial literacy: Organizations that help low-income families and individuals learn how to achieve financial stability

  • Food and shelter: Agencies that deliver services to cover basic needs or address the root causes of hunger and homelessness

  • Public health: Organizations that promote the well-being of people in our communities through education, research, and service


To be considered for a grant from HSA Bank, organizations must meet the following minimum eligibility requirements.

  • Applicants must be from registered 501(c)3 non-profit organizations.

  • We give greater consideration to organizations that incorporate evaluation measures to ensure positive results.

  • Use of funds must NOT be on HSA Bank’s list of ineligible activities.

  • An organization or program must be in operation for a minimum of two years and be able to show a history of success.

  • We give greater consideration to organizations that align with our mission, vision, and values.

Submitting a Grant Application

Please be sure to review our program areas, eligibility, and list of ineligible activities prior to submitting a grant request.

We strive to support as many organizations as we can, but we are unable to provide funding for every request submitted. Grants must be applied for annually as they do not renew year over year.

HSA Bank accepts grant applications by email only. Please submit your request to community@hsabank.com.Your request should include:

  1. Organization name

  2. Description of your request

  3. Contact information
