Jim Kelly, HSA Bank Senior Vice President

Jim Kelly, Senior Vice President, Sales, East

Jim Kelly joined HSA Bank in 2017 and is responsible for creating new revenue opportunities and developing new markets in the Eastern region of the United States. Jim has more than 25 years of sales experience in enterprise software, healthcare technology, and financial services. His experience provides a unique perspective to help employers and their employees fully understand and leverage the benefits of Health Savings Accounts and the full portfolio of products available from HSA Bank. Most recently, Jim served as Executive Vice President of Sales with Accolade, Inc. where he provided executive leadership of the sales organization selling concierge and healthcare navigation services to large employers.

Prior to that, he was Chief Revenue Officer at Pokitdok, Inc. and Vice President of Employer Sales at Benefitfocus, where he managed the Employer Sales organization that grew to deliver more than $50 million of new recurring revenue annually. This sales growth and momentum helped the company complete a successful Initial Public Offering in 2013. Jim earned a master’s in business administration degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a bachelor’s degree in communication from Loyola University Chicago.

Phil Hartsig, Vice President, Regional Sales Manager, East

Phil joined HSA Bank in 2008 as Regional Vice President of Sales and was promoted to Vice President, Regional Sales Manager, East, in 2017. He is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with insurance carriers, benefit consultants, third-party administrators (TPAs), employers, and other financial institutions. Before joining HSA Bank, Phil spent over 27 years working in various roles with health insurance carriers, TPAs, and benefit consulting firms. He was an early advocate of consumer-directed health plans as a means for his clients to rein in spiraling healthcare costs.

She is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with insurance carriers, brokers, consultants, TPAs, and employers. Heather is active with the National Association of Health Underwriters, and she has served in numerous roles at the national, regional, state, and local levels. Before joining HSA Bank, Heather spent more than 20 years in the health insurance and financial services industry, focusing on educational awareness and creating the ultimate customer experience for clients and their employees.

Larry joined HSA Bank as a regional vice president in 2011. He is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with insurance carriers, agencies, TPAs, and employers. Before joining HSA Bank, Larry spent 17 years in the insurance and financial services industries, including five years as the owner and president of his own agency. Larry feels HSAs, along with the compatible health plans, offer a strategic way to manage exorbitant premiums in an economic environment that has employers and employees searching for a way to stop the escalating cost of health insurance.

Joe joined HSA Bank as an Associate Vice President in 2013. He is responsible for building, developing and maintaining relationships with insurance carriers, brokers, benefit consultants, TPAs, MGAs, GAs, agencies, employers, and other financial institutions in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. Before joining HSA Bank, Joe spent over 30 years working in various sales and sales management roles with insurance carriers, managed care, and employee benefit consulting firms. He is a proponent of consumers having more control of their healthcare dollars and has promoted the value of HSAs as a tool to help employees pay for out-of-pocket healthcare cost with tax-free funds. Joe received his bachelor's degree in business from Fontbonne University in St. Louis, Missouri.

Brian joined HSA Bank in 2014 as a member of the Human Resources team. Brian was promoted to Associate Vice President of Sales in 2016. Brian is also an active member in the National Association of Health Underwriters, serving in both Maryland and Virginia chapters. Before joining HSA Bank, he spent three years in the software and services industry, focusing on the development of new and existing relationships, as well as exceptional customer satisfaction. Brian graduated from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse with a bachelor’s degree in business communication.

Before joining HSA Bank, Rantz spent 19 years working in the payments processing industry. Rantz graduated from Auburn University.

Scott Kiever joined HSA Bank in 2017 as Senior Vice President, Director of Sales West where he is currently responsible for creating new revenue opportunities and developing new markets in the Western region of the United States. Scott has more than 25 years of experience in SMB, mid-market, and enterprise sales. He has extensive experience training teams on multiple sales and leadership approaches. His work in building sales strategies and structures contributed to rapid scaling of sales teams and booking growth.

Prior to HSA Bank, Scott served as a National Account Sales Manager with ADP where he managed and cultivated new and existing relationships with large global employers. Scott later went on to work at Benefitfocus in various sales and leadership roles. He most recently led a team of enterprise account executives selling to companies with 10,000 employees or more. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and communications from Oregon State University. Scott is actively serving in his community, most recently on the Board of Trustee’s for Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) and the Portland Children’s Museum.

Ann Brisk, Vice President, Strategy Development Officer

Ann joined HSA Bank as Vice President and Strategy Development Officer in 2017. She is responsible for cultivating strategic ideas generated by HSA Bank by researching market opportunities and developing initial business cases. She brings more than 20 years of business development and transactional experience gained from working for a variety of healthcare companies and financial institutions. Before joining HSA Bank, Ann served as Director of Business Development at CAQH, a non-profit alliance of health plans and trade associations that focuses on the transformation of business processes in healthcare. Prior to that, in her role as Director of Business Development with Tango Health, Inc., she developed strategic partnerships with health plans and HSA administrators. Ann also served as Vice President, Healthcare Transaction Services, at OptumHealth Financial, where she generated annual growth through management of product and strategy for healthcare payment solutions. She earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Colorado Boulder.

Chris rejoined HSA Bank in 2011 as Vice President of Business Development after serving as Regional Vice President of Sales from 2004-2006. As SVP Director of Business Development, Chris is responsible for leading the business development team to acquire national accounts and develop health plan partnerships for the Bank's account-based benefit solutions. Prior to rejoining HSA Bank, Chris served as Vice President, Director of Healthcare Sales for The Bancorp Bank to drive the growth of its HSA solution. He has more than 25 years of experience building and maintaining strategic healthcare, banking, and technology partnerships to deliver employee benefit solutions. Chris earned the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Sanders joined HSA Bank in 2014, and he is responsible for developing and building relationships with national and regional health insurance carriers. Sanders has been a consumer-driven healthcare account champion for more than eight years with accomplishments, including the founding of My HSA Rewards. He has also worked to provide industry leading debit card processing for HSAs as well as other notional accounts like FSAs, HRAs, Rewards, and Commuter benefits.

Todd Rollo, Vice President of Business Development

Todd Rollo, Vice President of Business Development

Todd joined HSA Bank in 2017 as Vice President of Business Development. He drives strategic partnerships with national and regional health-insurance carriers. Todd works to identify areas of collaboration, drive innovation, and unlock shared value. Prior to this role, he spent more than a decade in sales and strategic consulting roles with UnitedHealth Group, where he was responsible for overall new and existing business for all consumer-directed healthcare (CDH) accounts. Todd also partnered with training, product, operations, and other functional areas to develop and deliver field-based CDH training and communications. He also obtained extensive experience while working for Humana with contracts, proposals, account management, and operations.
